A busy day ahead...catch up on the household shopping for me and help my mother with hers as well.  It looks like it will be a beautiful day, so it will be nice to be out and about!
The serious fall clean up will start on Monday.  Emptying  the compost bin and putting it on the garden plot will be the #1 priority next week.  It is a dirty job, but it will be well worth the results in next year's garden.

I always promise to remember the good weather, when we get into winter and have to deal with snow and colder temperatures.  When it was too hot this summer, I promised I would not complain about the cooler temperatures; we all know what happens with these promises.  So today again, I will say...I appreciate the nice weather we are having at the moment.....

It is a very pleasant four hour drive from here...Makes a nice little outing, as long as, if you are gambling, you do not spend more than you are prepared to lose.  It is a bus tour by a local company and it goes every

CHINESE MOON FESTIVAL CELEBRATIONS

The Chinese Moon Festival is second only to the Chinese New Year!

                         
    




   
On Saturday we went to Kelowna to attend the celebrations of the Moon Festival.
It was a joyous event with entertainment and food....and of course, Moon Cakes.

The Daughter, her husband and two grandchildren have all returned to Australia!  Wow, is it ever quiet....
