   We have awakened to a dusting of snow the last two mornings.  The temperatures have been cool at night, but the day time high has been about 5 degrees C.  It is supposed to warm up for a couple of days, with some rain.  But, we are in  for some cooler weather again.  I guess that says a lot about our March weather.


I believe the old adage is:  comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.

STUART MCLEAN APRIL 19 1948--FEBRUARY 15 2017

Stuart McLean was an Author and a CBC Radio Personality.  He hosted the program The Vinyl Cafe.  He wrote many award winning books.
My favorite Vinyl Cafe stories were about Morley and Dave.  He had a knack of telling a good story!
He was a well known and beloved Canadian Broadcaster.  We are saddened by his passing.

MORE SNOW TO COME!!

We managed to have a few days without it snowing last week....by the weekend we were shoveling every day!  It did not snow yesterday, but it is back in the forcast for later today!  Some areas are supposed to get more than others!!

STARTING A NEW MONTH RIGHT!!

Now that January is over, we can begin a new month.  Hopefully it will go quickly.  The end of February, usually brings the end of our really cold weather.   March and April can be very nice weather-wise, so hopefully this year will be one of those times!
