Something, that I have not mentioned in this new year, is that I have retired from my job. I have not retired from LIFE, but from the job that has defined my life for over 23 years. Sometimes we do not realize, just how much the job rules our thoughts, feelings, time and our life in general. Starting a new year, without the job is going to be a new process. So far, it has not been something that I miss, but I am told, (and I do know) that at some point, it is going to hit home that I have made a life changing decision. So far, it has been a good decision, but time will tell.

A NEW CHAPTER...

I hear you. When I was medically retired (against my will) I realised I had been defining who I was by what I did. A mistake which took me a while to rectify.
ReplyDeleteMy life is now very full. And I hope you find that your decision gets better and better.
