On Sunday, we decided to go for a Sunday Drive. Almost every year, we go to see the Rhododendrens in Manning park. It is about 190 Kms on the way to Hope BC. The plants are native to the area, but they have put a winding path through the plants so people can walk and see them, with out ruining their habitat. There were still some blooms left, but they had the rain storms that we had, so, unfortunately the flowers had taken quite a beating and were not as beautiful as in past years.
Pictures from previous years!
It looks as if it is a truly beautiful area. The blooms would definitely be bonus, but beautiful just the same.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a beautiful park. There are many hiking trails, a lake, picnic areas and camping.
