It is almost the first day of spring, here. It has been spring-like for the past month. We did not get a lot of winter this year! Unfortunately, we will pay for it....Our water resevoirs will not be as full as they should be. I think we should take a page out of Australia's book, and each have our own holding tanks to collect the rain water. We have yet to harness our natural resourses.

Not enough of us have rainwater tanks here either. Expensive, and in my city at least rather a lot of regulations to battle through. Some day I will have one (or two).
ReplyDeleteAnd we, as usual, as very, very short of the wet stuff at the moment.
My daughter, in Murray Bridge has a collection tank. I think it is such a great idea. With a separate tap for the grey water it is such a good way of conserving water A few people here have rain barrels outside, which help to collect the rainwater for watering their gardens.
