QUITE FRANKLY IT IS A GOOD THING THAT IT IS RAINING. BUT, IT IS A STORM, WITH VERY LOUD THUNDER! SO FAR, I HAVE NOT SEEN LIGHTNING! IT HAS BEEN SOOO DRY HERE, AND UNSEASONABLY HOT...WE HAVE FORREST FIRES IN THE AREA, BUT THANK GOODNESS, NOT IN MY BACKYARD. HOPEFULLY, IT STAYS THAT WAY!!!!!
I always welcome rain - perhaps because we rarely have enough. Fires are terrifying things aren't they? Some years back a bushfire got out of hand here and entered my city. 500 homes lost. Three human lives...
