In the morning we went on a city tour by bus. We visited Fitzroy Gardens and the Shrine of remembrance, Maru Koala and Animal Rescue. In the evening we visited Phillips Island, where all the little penguins come in from the ocean to rest for the night. All were very interesting but I liked seeing the Penguins on Phillips Island, the best.
Those penguins are charming aren't they? For many years they were commonly known as fairy penguins.
ReplyDeleteIt was so interesting. They just went about their business, not worrying about people watching. The set up with the boardwalks was great!
