ENTERTAINMENT, SUMMERLAND STYLE

Last evening we attended one of our little summer entertainment series.
-   This is an area by Okanagan Lake called Spirit Square. There is the gazebo, a waterpark for the children and a fenced off area for people to bring their dogs to swim. (Doggie Beach)  Last evening they had a free concert at the Gazebo.  There were at least 150 people there.  This concert series has been going on since July and features all different kinds of music.  It is a very popular Wednesday evening entertainment.  The group performing last evening was COD GONE WILD.  I have posted a video of them performing.  The fiddle player was particularly good, very good back ground music in general.

    Sometimes it pays to live in a smaller town. The Community Arts Council sponsors many events. They were also able to secure a small grant. It is not only good for the public, but also for these groups that entertain.
