Photos of Rhododendrons in Manning Park

This past weekend, we traveled to Manning Provincial Park.in the interior of British Columbia.  It is located between the towns of Princeton at the East and Hope at the West.  The following pictures are of the Rhododendron flats.  These plants grow naturally in the park.  There is a path, that winds its way for about a half  a Kilometer, through these plants natural habitat.  They usually start blooming in the third week of June.  It is certainly worth the drive to see these plants.
Manning Park is very beautiful.  It has many hiking trails, camping, a lodge and a lake.  It is a great place to bring your family for a week or a weekend.
I have been there, many times, but this is the first time I have been there when the Rhododendrons were blooming.
