Penticton is about 20 minutes down the highway from me. Though smaller than Kelowna and Vernon, it still offers a certain amount of shopping if I choose not to go to a larger centre. As with other places in the Okanagan Valley it is a tourist area. We are very central here. It is only about 300 miles to Vancouver BC or to Spokane Washington. Penticton has a small airport with flights to Calgary and Vancouver. Kelowna has a much larger airport with a variety of destinations.
As I said, on your last post - 'spoilt for choice...' And appreciative, which is lovely.
