OSOYOOS: OUR MOST SOUTHERN TOWN IN THE OKANAGAN

Osoyoos, only about an hours drive from us, is our most southern town in the Okanagan Valley.  It is where the border crosses into the United States.  It only has a permanent population of about 5000 people, but because of tourism, the population grows in different seasons.  Osoyoos Lake is right on the border of the United States and both British Columbia and Washington State, share the Lake.
Osoyoos has a population of people, that come from other areas of Canada, to spend the winter.  I met one couple from Whitehorse in Canada's Yukon, that spend every winter there.
We attended an antique car show in Osoyoos, a couple of weeks ago.  It is one of their annual events.
Like most of the Okanagan, besides being a tourist area, it grows fruit and has many vineyards with wineries.
